What category of cabin was this? It looks similar to the ships I have traveled on in the most recent past. I have been thinking about a trip on the QE 2, but ususally travel on Princess ships. Now I am ready to broaden my horizons. Any trips you are taking in the near future on the QE2?

Hola!
Katiemac is my wife...as you can see we are very thrilled to go on a cruise and I hope you don't mind me asking so many questions. I have read about cruises and I still have mixed feelings. I want to go on a cruise to experience all the amenities, luxuries, the great services, the swimming pools and the decks, the FOOD, but at the same time I have a tendency to feel seasick whenever I go on a boat. I have heard that it is worth it every penny to pay that extra money to get the best service. You should not be a pennypincher when it comes to cruises. Any words of advice?
Katiemac - The closet is to the right of the door in this picture, and more generous than it looks. The bathroom is to the left of the door. I was standing with my back to the sliders of our outside deck when I shot this picture. Our couch ( loveseat sized) is at my lower left and left of the champagne bucket and to the lower right ( not really in the picture is chair/desk/phone, TV (34") and refrig.
