Ok. I was born In Iowa. I have been living with my husband in the Pacific Northwest for 17 years now. I worked in the transportation field (consulting and public sector) for over 23 years and am trying new things now and figuring out how to meld the past with a new future. I had a successful "career" and have done a lot of traveling.I'm too young to stop working, but the time off is giving me some perspective and the recession has had an impact on me as well.
