Humming Birds waiting to get at the nector

Thanks for the nice comment. My wife took that picture. Every year we have hundreds of them,,,buzzing around and laying chasing. It looks like a wonderful life for the little bird. One day last year I ran down a cat that had one in it's mouth. (Just the natural thing that a cat does so I don't blame the cat.) Anyway I wrestled the cat for the bird and the bird had stopped fighting . I finally succedded in getting the poor thing and was going to bury it when the bird popped up,,,stuck me with his beakk and flew away. I like to think of that as a love tap. Darn it hurt though.
You got to watch out for them,,,they are always running into your head.

Thanks again--------------------------------------------------------Ken

What great pictures of the hummingbirds. This is one of my favorite birds. My parents live in northern Wisconsin and the hummingbirds always come to their feeder outside their porch. They are fascinating to watch.
