Yes, I started using leftover yarn but then had to buy more to fill in. Found some great bargains at Dollar General and Tuesday Morning stores. I also have a friend who finds yarns at garage sales. This afghan has everything in it - mohair, acrylic, nylon, polyester, wool, chenille - whatever fit the color scheme. I plan to list it on Etsy.com and see if I can make a little money by selling it.
I knit and crochet while watching TV to keep my hands busy in the evenings. Currently I'm working on a crocheted bag and a cotton rug and knitting a scarf.
Is this afgan made from left over yarn? I have so much I don't know what to do with it. This is the first time I am doing this.
I am working on three thing at once a bag made with yarn, a bag made is pastic bags and a scarf. Knitting and crocheting is so relaxing, when I have time to do it. I work part-time teaching children with special need, I go to senior 2 days a week and knit in my spare time. Would love to hear from you. Susan
