Here are some other ideas, since 'WDW' was a total flop....

If you would like to stay in the USA (for now), I would suggest your "Mother-Daughter Trip" take you to California. There are
"lots of fun and exciting things" to see and do out there..all the way along the Pacific Coast, from San Diego up to San Franciso!

If you have "already been there and done that too", my next suggestion would be to go a little outside the USA to one of the following islands:
BERMUDA - Absolutely "the most beautiful island" that I have ever visited. It would be a trip that neither you or your daughter
would ever forget! And, every aspect is 1st Class!
ATLANTIS - Paradise Island, Bahamas - If you are looking for a
"Fun and Exciting" experience, I would chose this over Bermuda,
which is a lot more restful and a 'la-de-da' type atmosphere.

Hope this helps. Without knowing "anything specific" about what you are looking for ~ or would like to do ~ it is difficult to match you up with the 'Perfect Trip' Mother-Daughter trip.

If none of these ideas work for you, you could always do a Cruise; but, since you live in Miami, you have probably already done that
too - LOL!

P.S. - Speaking as a Father with 2 daughters, this is what I would
do for a 'Father-Daughter' trip....and my daughters would really enjoy and never forget any of these options

Group Trips to Europe are always lots of fun.
If you prefer to stay in the USA for whatever reason (like safety),
a "Mother-Daughter" trip to a FUN place like WDW may be a good thing to do, especially since Daughter will be leaving the nest and going off to college. And, an atmosphere like WDW gives both you and your daughter a chance to meet some new and interesting friends, either together or separately.
