This is one of my roommates. He is such a sweetheart. He was feral, born to a stray, but he fell in love with my other roommate (a female) and we adopted him. It took him 6 months to even start to warm up to me. Now he seldom leaves my side
Your cat is beautiful. I am a cat lover too. I have a cat named Lance - we adopted him about 4 years ago from a young family that was going to have to get rid of him due to allergies. He is also my constant companion - and stayed on the bed with me the whole time I was going through cancer. I was bed-ridden for almost 2 years. And we also have a loving dog, named Fenway.
Cats are incredible. I have had cats since I was 5 years old. I do not know what "feral" means - would you tell me about that when you have time to write?
I would have another cat if we could afford it, but cancer is a very expensive illness, and I want to be able to take the best care of the 2 "family members" we have. But I love cats and dogs.
I had 2 cats that both lived to be about 17. I adopted them from an animal rescue organization. They are buried in a pet cemetery and I visit their graves often, and of course I cry. They brought me so much love - I know they both must have been sent from Heaven. They both died within 5 months of each other, and I grieved for them, just as I did when my Mom passed away 13 years ago.
Thanks for "listening".
Please give your cat a hug for me. He is so pretty.
