Obama And Health Care

Obama And Health Care

Why is it you can buy car insurance, house insurance, life insurance or most other insurance and know what your deductible is. When it comes to health insurance it gets a lot more confusing. Most policies have deductibles. Now it pays so much to a doctor, and you pay a copay to the doctor. You may pay less if you go to a doctor in network (Means the doctor agrees to accept what this insurance company will pay for certain items like exams.)You want to stay with your doctor who will not accept your insurance, so you may pay more for that choice. Ok we get the picture right? Now for example I just had surgery. I wasn't planning on it but it happened one night. I went to the hospital which was in network with my insurance plan. I knew I had a $500 deductible. I had no problem with this part of the deal. Now after being in the hospital 26 hours I start getting bills a few weeks later. I come to find out that some of the services done in the hospital are from out side sources who are not in network. Now your ****. I end up owning now $4000. Big shock! I'm semi retired and was only working for my health insurance. I'm making $8.50 per hour and paying every two weeks $240 for my wife and I to have health insurance. Something is wrong with this system. It's time to fix it. People cannot afford hits like this on there budgets. Just think I was there for 26 hours. Insurance companies are making big profits on people getting sick. Know one plans on getting sick. Health insurance should be to protect all of us. Not to stress us out and put us in the poor house. Lets support Obama and get this done NOW!
