This year I hope everybody gets something that they really want, something that they associate with love and /or caring. Whether it is something from the store, or something from the heart, I hope it gives you good feelings.  Maybe feelings that will cause you to pay it forward.  Maybe a memory of someones love and kindness, that you can return, maybe if not to the original giver, maybe to someone down on their luck, maybe a senior living alone for the holidays.  Maybe to a child(ren) who is feeling forgotten by Santa (or mom and dad). 

I gave all my 'thankfuls' at Thanksgiving. I have a lot to be thankful for and to be cheerful about.  I hope I can keep paying it forward, til my last days.  Tip your ear towards God, hug a child and be glad that you live in the United States Of America!   Merry Christmas one and all!

I am usually up on everything and when I'm not, I can find it on the www.   Can't find anything on the new taxes for inheritance.   Anyone else heard anything or found anything, feel free to let me know here.

Hey America,

ONLY 11,000 jobs were LOST in the month of November.  So stocks are going up because of this wonderful thing, and they tell us we can stop with our economic fears!  Wow!   ONLY 11,000 jobs!!! 

Do they really think we are supposed to celebrate this?  Maybe ONLY 11,000 jobs were lost because that is the least possible amount of people they can let go without having to shut down their businesses.  I mean, if they could let 20,000 go, and still operate their businesses... they would have let 20,000 people go.   Do they all think we are too dumb to figure this out?

Wouldn't we have something to celebrate if they said 11,000 people GOT THEIR JOBS BACK?  Then, MAYBE, we could say...okay maybe the economy is starting to look up.   I can't celebrate the loss of another 11,000 jobs in America and then listen to the leader talk at a jobs summit.   Pass the up-chuck bag, please.

I get lonely this time of year.  I miss my kids and the times we used to have.  I miss girls day, and nature day and all that silly stuff. I miss the holidays I used to have with friends and family.

Anyone else get the winter time, holiday blues?

I would like to add my 2 cents here, since it is my own writing space, I guess I can.  :)

Some people say that it does no good to complain about crooked politicians, or the health care system that Obama is trying to force on everyone, or higher taxes, or job losses, etc.  What the hell do you mean it does no good?  With out people that will stand up and complain, hold tea parties, and town hall meetings, we will have communism.  We will have a socialist society, we will have all the S*^% that the present administration is trying to shove down our throats.

Keep complaining.  Keep having tea parties. Keep having townhall meetings.  Please!! Keep doing what we are doing and lets celebrate the things that we overcome.  I am proud that we don't live under communist rule and I won't have it even if I have to rant and complain with my last breath.

Does no good to rant and complain?  Give me a break!  Listen to FoxNews if you think it doesn't do any good.  Look how many people showed up.  It was a celebration of life and freedom!  Don't you dare say it does no good!

I bought a quilt made by Better Homes and Gardens.   Trying to get a response from them is like pulling teeth from a calf.   :(

The quilt feels heavy and slick.  It won't stay on the bed.  Thought I would use it on the sofa, and it won't stay on that either.   Does anyone know if it is foolish to attempt to try and take out all the quilt stitching?  There is a lot, but all I can think of to make the quilt usable is to take it apart.   Any suggestions from quilters here?  Any ideas?  Please let me know.

Pelosi plan...a monthly abortion premium will be charged to all enrollees in the government-run plan.  H.R. 3962, Line 16, Page 96,  Section 213, under insurance rating rules.   The premium funds go into a US Treasury Account that will be used to PAY FOR ABORTIONS.
