About Me

Currently Medically Retired from the U.S. Postal Service with 24 years of experience due to having Primary Progressive MS and Fibromyalga. I worked in computers , carrying the mail, change of address, mark up, customer service rep, bulk mail clerk, box clerk, sales associate, I love working with people, I love to resolve issues and bring smiles to people faces. I have one son who is a young adult, who plans on going back to school this summer, he moved out for a while and was just not ready, so back home and more education and learn better skills. He has been my rock along with my Mother, she currently is in a Rehab Facility instead of living with me, her needs are too high and my only wish is that she keeps being happy, she has such a zest for life that others would have given up long time ago. I visit her almost daily and her hugs are galore! My conditions have prevented me from taking care of her full time, that part of my life I wished I could change!

Interests:
My interests are traveling, bingo, caring for people I love, hobbies are reading, cooking and again traveling, my volunteer work has been very limited, since I worked full time for many many years, I did join a group to change school boundaries years ago where I represented the disabled students. I love boating, sunsets, opera and again, traveling and being with friends! I like to go and explore as much as I can, even though I have not done much lately, but hoping I get that opportunity to do so in my future.

I have always worked in one way or another, and am wondering if I could actually find a part time job again, something that would make me feel useful and feel good self worth again.  I am very limited to what I can do, no physically restraining jobs anymore, would love to teach in areas that I am very aware of, or somehow work with customers again, they always brought me a smile, even the ones with the most difficult issues to resolve.

My mother is still living with me and will be for more time. I am having a hard time letting her go, even tho I found a wonderful family adult home with a nurse and doctor on staff, and very doty caring caretakers, I just don't know if I can let her go, she is so happy being home, having a few new medical problems, but am trying so hard to stay on top of all the changes, so thanks for your prayers, they must be working, as she is not leaving! Thanks Matilda
