Interests:
I enjoy the Theatre Arts, music, dance, football, biking, reading, and a few other sports. Traveling is a good thing--I just haven't been afforded the opportunity to do so yet. For those into poetry, I've written an inspirational booklet and am in the process of getting ready to publish

My Journals (7)

Lord, thank you for

  • my eyes to see the beauty of Your creation and to read Your word
  • my earsto hear the melody in the songs of the birds
  • my hands to touch the flower petals in spring
  • my heart to feel Your presence as the angels sing
  • my legsto stand rooted in You
  • my feet that carry me through
  • my arms that are open wide to receive You as you stand by my side

Thank You, Lord, for

  • the sun that lights and heats the earth
  • the dew as it glistens and brings it awake
  • the stars that kiss the sky and twinkle at night
  • the moon that replaces the sun when it takes flight

All these things I'm truly grateful for

Without them I couldn't get far

No matter what I would try to do

It wouldn't be possible

If it had not been for you

These relative parts are no mystery

You will find they're the basics

As we walk through the pages of history

Everyday body parts taken for granted

Wouldn't be so gibly tossed aside

If their importance were really understood

The next time you blink, hear, touch

Feel an emotion, bend, take a step

Or encircle someone in your arms

Know that it was all made possible

By the Son and be ye thankful

Well, what can I say. It doesn't get much thrilling than this. Be careful of a woman bearing arms--it's definitely not in your best interest--unless you are fighting for the same cause. You have a blessed and triumphant Thursday.
