Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive body, but rather to skid in sideways, cigar in one hand, favorite cocktail in the other, body thoroughly used up, worn out, and screaming WOO-HOO What A Ride!

HI Carol

Damn good to hear from you, I hope this finds you well!

Been busy taking care of three houses now, I'm back teaching at the Senior Center, I'm in college studying to be an online instructor, Lori is in college too but in Minnesota so I drive out there and get her teen to high school and back and usually cook for them on the weekends when Lori is home, etc etc etc.

Not to mention that AARP REALLY sucks with the software etc if you have dial up. It can take 5-10 minutes for pages to load, etc. No fun anymore.

I only belong to the Joke of the Day now. Too many messages from Current Events to deal with. Last time I had over 1000 of them to delete, 1 page at a time if and when THAT was working. So I get a message in my email from the Joke forum or if someone comments like you did.

SO happy to hear from you, I don't visit often so if'n ya need this ol' librel drop me a note here and I'll jump on it.

My real email is roadstarv98 and I am on hotmail. Drop in there anytime.

Take care and smile. I think of you often.

Mike

yes, i know the ills we can acquire riding, which i did for over 25yrs. had one in NYC in the late 60's dislocated 4th vertibrae, and in the 70's car with a left hand turn- well front wheel stuck in cars tire well and i cleared a complete intersection - airborne. still miss it though it was really the best time of my life.. i love freedom and at least i have replaced it with where i am..there is nothing like the high country as i have come to like mt.lions, bears, bobcats etc. better than humans. been watching Ken Burns film about the Natl. parks and it makes me long for a trip. guess the Grand Canyon is next. take care
