The day is off to a good start.  Our older daughter and our grandson are visiting until Thursday.  Our son called last night to tell us that he has a job offer.  Had a nice message this morning from an aarp friend.

The pace of work at the office is relaxed.  And it is a beautiful July morning.

I'm attending the Lewis County Fair this evening.  Have to work at a booth operated by Heartland Resources, a not for profit organization that provides serves for senior citizens.  (I'm on the board of directors for Heartland .)  It'll be a great opportunity to visit with lots of people.

I heard that statistically there is not a moment when someone in the world isn't playing Pink Floyd's Dark   Side of the Moon album.  This morning I was playing it as I drove to work.  Dark Side of the Moon came out in 1973 and I never got around to buying it.  Last night my eighteen year old daughter ask me if I wanted her DSOTM cd.  She has the album on her ipod and didn't need the cd.  So today  I abandon NPR during my commute in favor Pink Floyd.

I'm still a "new kid" on this site.  Puttering around, looking at groups and people.  Decided that my attempt at group creation was not necessary as there are other group that fill the niche that I wanted.  Think that the problems in establishing the group may have come from my internet connection.  If you see me while "passin thru" cyberspace, stop and say hello.

I've been trying to start a tai chi group on this site but keep getting kicked out.  After filling out the creat a group page I get the error message that I need to list a sub-catagory. But it refuses to allow me to add  to that field.  When I attempt again..being careful to add the sub-catagory...I get the same error message.  Any suggestions?

For now, I've adopted a picture of R Crumb's "Mr. Natural" was my group photo.  And the motto, "just passin thru", seems to be a good philosphy of life.  I'm just passin thru, so I want to enjoy the journy, experence the best of life, meet the most interesting people, and enjoy myself on the way.
