I'm originally from NY and have lived in Florida for 38+ years. I still can't get used to the summer heat, but the rest of the year is delightful which makes it all worth while. I retired a year ago and find myself working just as hard with projects around the house. I'm looking forward to making new friends and hopefully traveling with some of you in the group

I ended up deleting my photo and followed these instructions:
Go to your Profile page by clicking on your name, icon or the "my profile" link on the upper right of any screen.
Click on the "edit" button next to the word "background" a few lines below your blue silhouette. That brings up the edit screen on the right.
Click on the "browse" button to the right of the "My Picture" line near the top. That takes you to your computer. Find the photo/icon you want to use, click on it & then "open". That brings you back to the edit screen, and the path to your photo should appear in the box now.
Scroll to the very bottom of the edit screen, and click on "Save Changes".
Your photo should now show up in the upper left of your Profile, and when you post publicly. GOOD LUCK!
