Hi Dee,
Glad you weekend was quiet and peaceful. Mine was half quiet and half noisy. Went to a neighborhood party on Sunday. Stayed home most of Monday as it was too hot to go anywhere.

I had a nice Labor day weekend. My daughter did all the cooking!!! I have came a long way since last time I posted to you. Getting better, will heal, and move forward. And at least we are not going through the horrible flooding, as they are in the south. We all just have to find the good, and not the bad. Sometimes that is hard to do, and we just have to keep looking until we find the good. You and others here, are the good, the disgusting ones are in politics. A real nasty political year. I do not know who I will vote for yet. It has become hard to know who is the good, the bad, or just the ugly. I have gotten worried about Obama. I do not like his running mate. I know too much about him. I feel like time shifted back to over 15 years ago. I lived in Washington state at that time, and I do hope it turns out much better. I just cannot trust Obama totally. He goes to the mideast to often, and plays his games with those who want to wipe the USA off the map. I have came to believe, that our world as we know it now, will change to total horror!! Obama is very good at hiding his real true thinking. I have watched Obama and listen to him argue issues which he deams to be more important than Iraq, and getting our men and women home. I just cannot believe his ideas will be good for we the people of the USA!! The more he talks, the less I like him. I am a democrat, but I will not vote for him. He is too rich, too cockey, and I see men and women being sent to Africa almost as soon as he would take over the as President . I been in Washington DC, years ago. We have a upside down world right now.
So I will just talk to my friends here, and wait, since I know McCain as goofy as he maybe, has gone through treatment, to help him become more normal. He tries, and I know he was a VietNam prisoner for so long, I do not know how he survived. I do think I want to know

Hi Dee,
I don't really like this comment section. I find it hard to tell what I'm commenting on. I received three separate notices that you had replied to a comment I made so I'm assuming that the three below this are to me. The first message told me of your nice Labor Day weekend with your daughter. What kinds of things did she cook for you? That was certainly nice of her to do all the cooking. I'm very glad to hear that you are healing and doing much better than the last time I talked to you. You are right we always have to try to find the good. Someone always has it worse than we do.
As for the politics I don't get into that subject on the boards simply because I think everyone is entitled to their opinion but I'm only here for fun and not debate. I think the most important thing is to vote no matter who you choose. Our forefathers and mothers fought to get us the right so we need to exercise it.
This past Tuesday was the hottest day of the year and today it's raining and in the 50's. Quite a change. Fall has arrived already and there are several leaves on the ground. We need the rain. The gr****is getting brown and the ground is hard. Glad you enjoyed the college football games. I don't watch too many sports events except for the Green Bay Packers and an occasional Milwaukee Brewer baseball game. I did watch some of the Olympics though. Take care and have a good week.

Good morning Dee,

Just a note to say 'Hi' this morning. Has your son in Florida been near any of the recent fires? I see they got some rain, I hope it helped.

Have a great day.
