I am a native of the Seattle area. Grew up in the 50s and 60s, graduated high school at the dawn of the 70s and somehow life has happened ever since. I have a grown son of whom I am very proud, and an ex I still consider a friend. I have worn many hats in my work life--housecleaner, day care operator, freelance writer, and many roles of office work from clerical to administrative. A few years ago I changed direction and now I work in health care. I am actively volunteering right now with some local nonprofits who are creating tools to make affordable health and wellness services accessible despite our current health care conundrum

Reading (my book club keeps me exploring new material, but my love is short mysteries), writing, classic movies, playing cards

eclectic--anything from Classic Rock to Country to Zydeco to "New Age" to Reggae to whatever comes 'round the corner tomorrow
