About Me

Family, friends, and fun! These are important to me in the larger picture, because I have learned what counts most in life. Spirituality is also a key to happiness, and it truly promotes well-being. You know, life is full of surprises everyday--some welcomed, some not. This much I have learned: you can either let life make something out of you-- or you can make something out of life! If you wait for things to 'happen' they usually don't...so I try to make the most out of everyday. I've lived through 2 marriages and divorces, raised two children, and now enjoy two grandchildren. I've spent a lifetime in education, and it has been a passion of mine. I have very few--if any--regrets in life

Interests:
Gardening, swimming, walking, reading, writing, THE BEACH, and--oh yeah--motorcycles and classic cars!

Music:
I love the Blues! I prefer some of the more contemporary blues like Kenny Wayne Shepard and Johnny Lang. I am also a lifelong fan of rock--classic and all that's hot right now. I especially enjoy live music in an outdoor setting

Movies:
I like movies that make you feel good! If I'm going to spend two hours or more of my life watching 'make-believe'--I want it to end on a happy note! I love romantic adventure movies, drama, and mysteries

Books:
Mostly, I read for information. I prefer philosophy and health. I also read for spirtual growth. Lately, I've read Ekhart Tolle's, "The Power of Now" and Suzanne Somer's "Breakthrough". Currently I am reading "Women and Money" by Suze Orman

Television:
I don't watch a lot of television. I do like "Two and a half men" and Tru TV and the history channels
