About Me

I'm 58 years old and in the 'fall' of my life. One of my passions is writing, and I hope to use this site to meet others in the AARP community who might be interested in exchanging their 'life stories' as a way of learning wisdom and inspiration from one another as we pass through the 'seasons of our lives' together. I am a husband, (37 years to my high school sweetheart), father (5 adult children) and grandfather (8 grandchildren) who truly feels blessed with the gifts God has given me over my lifetime. I've enjoyed two careers that have pulled at all of my strengths and talents, first as a professional fundraiser in the non-profit community, and second as a retired Medical Service Corps officer in the U.S. Army reserve. (33 years)
