Approximately four years ago, on a day that had started pleasantly, my life as I had known it
changed in the blink of an eye. My husband, Ray, died suddenly of a massive heart attack. He was talking
one minute, the very next - gone forever. He had no previous history of heart problems. With the help of
family, friends [old and new], and most of all with the sustaining power of my Faith in God I "got through"
the 1st years. Now with the encouragement from the same family and friends [and a few more ] and my
steadily increasing Faith, I am beginning to live life once more.
I continue to struggle at times and battle the fears of doing things on my own, but my confidence is
growing. Life is a precious gift from God, not to be wasted.
Interests:
Enjoy outdoor activities, my grandchildren, animals and photography. I currently have 3 horses [horses have
been a lifelong passion], they provide me with a certain type of therapy. Whenever I get to feeling
stressed out or overwhelmed by life, I head to the barn for some much needed "horse therapy" Among my many
horse themed shirts, two really sum it up for me; "I'D RATHER BE AT THE STALL THAN AT THE MALL' and
'WHEN LIFE GETS BUMPY, I RIDE IT OUT'.
Recently became the owner of a pick-up truck and a 4 horse trailer with living quarters and am anticipating
traveling.
Used to enjoy painting with acrylics, but haven't been able to since my husband passed away. Perhaps some
day I will again.

Country and Oldies especially, but do enjoy all types of music except Heavy Metal Or Rapp

Don"t really do much movie watching, more of an outdoors person.

Enjoy John Grisham novels and almost anything about horses.
.
