Interests:

I enjoy reading, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and gardening. I knit and crochet prayer shawls for the most part; I sew stuffed dolls and animals, quilt blocks, and clothing; I read most anything I can--fiction and nonfiction--but murder mysteries are my favorite; I have both flower beds and vegetable garden, as well as a small orchard of dwarf fruit trees on our half-acre lot in town

Music:

I'm pretty eclectic as far as music is concerned. I like most music, as long as the lyrics are not full of profanity. I'm not impressed much by most of the modern rap, though. I'd have to say my favorite singer of all is Dean Martin

Movies:

This is a tough one, as I like a lot of movies. My all time favorite actor would be Sean Connery, and not just in the James Bond role, but in all of them I've seen. I liked him best in "The Untouchables."

Books:

My most favorite book, after the Bible, would be the Sherlock Holmes collection that I have

Television:

Network television, as far as I'm concerned, is a waste of time. I like to watch the History Channel and Discovery, with HGTV and the Food Network sometimes. I watch movies on AMC, but I won't get the premium channels to get the movies on them. I do like the Law and Order shows, especially the original series. It is about the only thing I watch on the networks
