About Me

Interests:
I believe that I was born writing. I write short stories, plays and have done extensive work in theater. Also born reading, well..almost. I could read and understand by 17 months old. I am not kidding. I was one of those protegee children. Just simple words. My mother was a teacher by trade and had me all to herself for nearly six years. When I entered Kindergarten I could write in cursive. This did not endear me to my peers!

Music:
Gospel, Classical, Christian ( Traditional as well as Contemporary). Oldies...you know..Motown and do not let us forget doo-wops! I love the old doo-wops!

Movies:
Okay anything classic and especially in black and white. Anything Bogart, Robinson, Raft, and Cagney. I love the classic gangster movies. Anything with Bette Davis, Bacall, Hepburn, and any of the classy ladies of the day. African American movies of worth. Oscar Micheuax, Spencer Williams, anything with Nina McKinney. How could I forget Robert Mitchum ( Night Of The Hunter) Mitchum at his scariest. Like new movies as well. Anything mysterious and a good whodunit. Not so much into blood and gore anymore, but once did. Just watched Stephen King's "The Mist" EE-YEW! Scary alright, I tell ya!

Books:
Okay, this could last a long time. I have so many favorites, and so many titles. Mostly mysteries, African American writers, non African American as well. So many books, so little time. Interested in real history of the US and Christian self-help

Television:
This one is easy. CNN, TBS, TBN, and GAME SHOWS! Jeopardy! Wheel Of Fortune! Family Feud! HGTV ( sigh) lovely homes and lots of creative ideas!)
