I am an elementary school teacher and a former R.N. I have been married to my wonderful hubby for almost 36 years. He just retired after being a mailman for the last 39 years. I plan to keep working for a while longer. We have 2 sons who are also in education. Their wives are, too!! (Needless to say we have a lot to talk about when we get together!!) We have 3 grandchildren, 2 of whom were born 4 weeks apart, almost to the hour. They are almost 2 years old. The other is a newborn! Of course they are the cutest and smartest babies in the world! It is really fun to see them together! We have lived in the same small midwestern community all of our lives and have had most of our same great neighbors for 30 years. Some may call ours a rather boring life, but I would not change a thing!!!

Interests:

Love to play on the computer, dabble in photography, cook, garden and lately do workouts with the Wii Fit.

Music:

Pretty much any of the oldies from the 40's to though the 70's. Beatles are #1, followed by Billy Joel, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Simon and Garfunkel, Judy Garland, Frank, Perry Como, and Big Bands. Also love Eva Cassidy and Jason Mraz

Movies:

Again lots of the oldies -- Ghost and Mrs. Muir, Sleepless in Seattle, Sound of Music, Wizard of Oz, Chocolat, Under the Tuscan Sun, etc. Also love Miss Potter, and most recently, Sex and the City and the new Indiana Jones movie

Books:

Anne of Green Gables, Seat of the Soul, Far Pavilions, Undaunted Courage, the latest Barbara Walters book, Auditions
