Interests:

Interests may be divided between past and present. Currently, I am interested in War versus Peace and the War of private insurers and pharmaceuticals versus traditional Medicare and Universal health care. In both cases, I have more interest in the latter than the former. Past interests are irrelevant IMO

Music:

Eclectic may best describe my music choices from Gregorian Chant to Country Western and much in between. Same thing with artists from Sarah Brightman to the Dixie Chicks. P.S. I don't consider rap as music

Movies:

As moments of truth: "All Quiet on the Western Front," both the original and remake as well as "Schindler's List" the former of the futility and horror of WWI and the latter about the same of WWII. For laughter and relaxation, "Scrooged" and "Groundhogs Day" are not as serious, but contain a message as well.

Books:

The Seven Story Mountain, Thomas Merton, OCSO The present crowd may not relate to or appreciate this journey to spiritually from the past
