Enjoy life fuly, and give back by volunteering your time and services. It comes back ten fold in terms of satisfaction!

About Me

I'm happily single, traveled extensively, and am very active socially, for growing older doesn't mean being old! I'm a Member of two Toastmaster Clubs, enjoy Ballroom Dancing and a good game of Scrabble. However, if given the choice of a good dancer and good conversationalist, I would rather be in the company of a good conversationalist. Fortunately I have both in my life, and good friendships are highly valued, as is Family! In terms of FamilyI have one Brother, three Daughters and four Grandchildren who I love dearly!

Interests:
One of my biggest joys is my participation within the AARP Community, and my communication with many of our very supportive Members. Since I have varied interests, it was not difficult to develop 14 Groups within the Community. I also volunteered my time for 5 years at our local VA Medical Center, for I enjoyed being there for our Veterans, as they were there for us and our Country! There are many different volunteer positions available! If you have a VA Hospital, near your community, please consider this type of Volunteer Work, for your help is really needed! Other than that, I enjoy travel, and have had the privilege of traveling extensively!

Music:
Singers of this quality: Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, and Barbra Streisand.

Movies:
There are so many movies, that I can't list them all. I enjoy good acting which was especially evident in: 12 Angry Men; They Shoot Horses, Don't They; Serpico; Dog Day Afternoon; The Graduate; The Pawnbroker; GlenGarry, Glen Ross; Forrest Gump; The Man Who Would Be King; Million Dollar Baby; Runnaway Jury; Flag Of Our Fathers; Mrs. Henderson Presents; Little Voice; Calendar Girls; Strictly Ballroom; My Big Fat Greek Wedding; Memois of a Geisha;Fracture, and I can go on and on!
