About Me

Hello, all: I live on the far south side of Chicago near Calumet Park with my husband. I have two wonderful daughters. We have two dogs and a cat. My mother lives in Riverdale, Illinois and my father is deceased. I have four siblings, a sister and two brothers (one sister deceased). I am the second to oldest child, oldest girl. My parents really instilled the importance of family in us growing up. We did everything together, and to this day, we try to spend as much time as we can together. Last year we were able to vacation together in Indiana Beach. What a fun time!! If there is no reason to celebrate, we make up something. I will soon be celebrating 25 years with my current employer, Mayer Brown LLP. I am most grateful to Mayer Brown for giving me a chance back in l983, and continuing to afford me opportunities. Their support and encouragement throughout this process has meant a lot to me. I have been very fortunate to work with such good people at such a prestigious firm. I am honored at having the opportunity to share this venture with everyone. This is by far the most exciting adventure I have encountered in my lifetime thus far. I am sure I will be talking about this experience for years to come and am most grateful that you will be joining me every step of the way.

Interests:
I like to walk and go to a nearby Curves (health club) three times a week. During the warmer months, I walk around the track at a neighborhood high school. I spend most of my spare time talking with family since I don't have much time during the week. The thing I enjoy most is backyard bar-be-ques and park outings. I love the outdoors. Can hardly wait til summer.

Music:
My favorite music is disco, and I really enjoy the music of the 60's- 70's era. Couldn't get enough of Smokey Robinson, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Tina Turner and yes, I adored Elvis Presley and Tom Jones.... "It was not unusual" to find me sitting in front of the TV when he came on

Movies:
I love Turner Classic Movies (TCM). My favorite actresses are Cicely Tyson and Glenn Close. My favorite male actor is Michael Douglas.

Books:
I love to read murder mysteries. One of my favorite authors is Patricia Cornwell.

Television:
I have the Alfred Hitchcock collection. My favorite move of all time is "Psycho." I still watch it and it has the same affect on me as it did years ago. I also like funny movies. Laughing is therapeutic and catching
