I've been told I am a hopeless romantic, and I think I would have to agree. I follow my heart in just about everything, including my politics and my devotion to my God, and to my country.
In that I'm what is called a Constitutionalist. I believe strongly that our founders got it right the first time, and we should see to it that what they created is not lost to small men with large egos, and even smaller minds. Don't misunderstand this. I'm no political hack that eats, sleeps, and breaths politics. I'm a Veteran from some 40 years ago, and, I believe this country needs far less 'change' and far more people that are willing to stand up for her. I think she's doing quite well for being on the high side of 230 years old.
I enjoy interaction with others. I probably wouldn't be here if I didn't. Particularly with people closer to my own age, and similar beliefs. Once I laughed at my father because he seemed "so out of touch with the times." Only now am I starting to understand why, and how he must have felt.
I've been blessed to spend the last twenty-six years of my life with my soul mate, Donna Jo. It took me a while to get it right, but let me tell you, with her, I got it right
