About Me

I'm always looking for HELP to do Computer Things better. Here's something I discovered that's a big help for me for AARP How-To's: In Search Groups I use "Seniors Guide 2 Computers ". also listed as "Seniors Guide to Computers" http://www.seniorsguidetocomputers.com ANOTHER "ABOUT ME" IS AN INTERESTING BLEND OF AARP GROUPS ;WRITING MEMOIR SITE AND PRESERVING FAMILY HISTORY SITE ****THEY ARE SIMILAR YET V.COMPATIBLE GROUPS

Interests:
I love Sunday football, Redskins, the "old" Cleveland Browns etc. Organized a Computer Lab for Seniors at a large Senior Center, and have a daily Email exchange with Grandkids, volunteers and former students. I write daily- mostly creative non-fiction, but they also include personal memoirs, short stories, articles etc, and my hard-drive is full of half finished projects that I plan to re-write and edit sometime soon. sigh!!!

Music:
I remember the days of 1930-40 song lists from the five and ten cent store, and can join in most from memory, as soon as they begin. Also 50's songs with Janis J and Jimi Hendrix etc, and probably am the eldest "Greatful Dead-Head in MD", from accompanying 4 sons to Dead concerts.Sentimental Favorite Songs-Frank Sinatra and My Way and It Was A Very Good Year. SIGH !

Movies:
Mostly reruns, Turner Classic Movies and the like

Books:
Every one I can read and re-read on Civil War. All Time Favorite: Killer Angels by Michael Shaara and others by his son. Interested in Newt Gingrich's fictional "novels" about Civil War, too. A unique genre. Also library copies to HOW TO WRITE books of all kinds

Television:
TCM, AMC, Sopranos, and CSI, Law&Order, and House. Weird ones
