I'm retired from the workplace (oh joy!) and enjoying exploring the many other dimensions of life along with my spouse and my golden retriever Sophie. I have a grown son who is a flight engineer for the U.S. Navy and lives in Oklahoma City. Hubbie & I might consider moving out there once he retires from teaching at Wesleyan Univ. in Middletown, CT. It's so much less expensive to live out there; the cost-of-living is high in CT and it's a tax nightmare. And though it's wonderful in the summertime (we live near the shoreline), winter is a long drawn-out affair. Still, I'd miss my home in the woods and the many interesting songbirds that live here or stop by during migration, including lots of hummingbirds.
