About Me

I'm a young sixty year old retiree living in the St. Louis, Mo. area. Like most of us, I'm finding it harder and harder to make ends meet, and may have to go back to work (I hate that idea). I'm presently trying to establish an online business. It's funny that I would rather work ten to twelve hour days trying to market my service rather than work a few part-time hours for someone else. In either event, it's getting tougher and tougher out there to find even part-time jobs. My wife has been applying for about four months with no luck. She is about 1 1/2 tears from collecting social security and we need to establish some sort of income in that time to avoid exhausting emergency savings. Honestly, I'm not complaining. We're very blessed in that we both worked for almost 40 years with no strikes or layoffs. I know that there are so many people hurting so much more than we are, and I include them in my prayers every day. I am very worried about where this country in headed. I truly wonder if my twin daughter's families' (5 grandchildren) futures are in real peril. I an worried that our nations leadership has waited too long to straighten the ship and I don't believe, for one minute, the nonsense we are being told about the end of the recession being near
