HI guys, I too spent my time in Viet Naim with the 2nd Air Cav and I am now retired and I fully support of troop in what they are doing now. We did not have much support wheen we did our jobs and I feel that we should be behind our troops at all times thru thick or thin.

hi ron and faye yes i agree we should give our troops all the support passible. yes we didn't get as much support although i feel the people still cared and loved us back than just that in that time there was alot different situation in the country.but we need to learn from the past and as you said we do need to support those overseas in harms way in every way possible.jim

hi chuck its my company i own. i have a painting/renovations company. i don't work anymore but have people working for me.the chap in the picture is my 30 year old son. he lives in florida and is married to a nurse who came from florida. he worked for me for a few years but than went to architecture and design scool in florida. i'm proud of him he's a good boy. and yes we will keep on the elected officials. have a great week and thaks chuck. jim

Each of our elected officials no matter what political party they may be a part of needs to read your journal. Sometimes they forget who they are working for.
We need to remind them of that fact. Also please stop trying to change what our founding fathers set up as a very workable constitution and work within the limits they establised.

thank you very much chuck and yes they do need to read . thats what i'm trying to get across to alot of them. its funny when they are asking to be elected, they are full of promises and respect. than once elected they seem a different person. i guess thats where i would differ cause if i was ever elected to a positon i would not change to fit in with the system. i would change the system to fit in to what should be.all we can do chuck is keep trying to make them understand who works for who and then when we leave this world just hope some of those will carry on for us.and i agree they should stop trying to change the constituition that our country was founded on.working with in those limits should be adheared to as you said. they are there for a reason.so thaks chuck and lets try to keep on them. jim
