About Me

I'm 54 years young come this September, I'm a Virgo/Libra (born on the cusp), single man with a cat named Kismet residing in Denver, Colorado. My name is Allen but all my friends call me Otter. I have all my family in Florida. I'm retired from the work force where for the past 20 years I've been in the Hotel/Customer Service Industry. Dreams Do Come True - The Final Chapter

Well ladies and gentlemen, I write this entry with a heavy heart and trembling hands. The genetic test my long lost daughter and I took came back today and the results are in. I had to make the most difficult phone call in my life today, to tell a little girl I loved and lost contact with for 30 years until recently that she was NOT my daughter. The probability of paternity came back 0 %. I reiterated to Kristy Lee what I told her from day one....I ALWAYS believed in my heart that she was my daughter and I've loved her as my own, and I can't and won't change those feelings. I want to thank everyone that gave us hope and encouragement for a happy ending to this "fairy tale". I wanted more than ever to prove to her, and everyone else that I WAS her biological father and give her a father's name on her birth certificate and bring some closure and resolution to her long time quest to find her "real" father. .....she'll ALWAYS be my little girl and I will ALWAYS love her as mine!

You sound like a wonderful father and I am sure Kristy will continue with you as her DAD. There's is more to be a DAD than there is to being a father. You've done a wonderful job with her and she knows it.

Thanks for that Francese, I only got to spend a little bit of time with her when she was little, but when she called looking for me, it brought back all those wonderful memories of her. I will always love her as my own....in my heart
