When it comes to Raading
For years, I was an avid reader, and got sidetracted by work and family.
A few years back, I got back into the good reading habits from the former years.
I read Fiction- Non-Fiction-Biographies, Autobiographies, Documentaries-Magazines-
and articles of anything that interests me. I also read the Bible- Childrens stories-Poetry.
My favorite Fiction authors are:
Dorothy Garlock---Janet Dailey---Catherine Anderson--Pamela Davis--Debbie McComber --and many others who write of the old west, and early American living, Those who put a lot of research into the area they are writing about, and the life-styles at the time.
My favorite timelime line is the 1800'sand the 1900's . And that may be due to my interest in Genealogy.
I am not big on Mystery, Science, or outerspace, or Vampires. i did read a lot of Gothic, and Early English
in my early years, but my interest no longer lies in that field.
I love Reader's Digest, Comedy, and altho I have never owned a number of pets, I like horse and dog stories.
Antique Magazine, and Jane Austin. National Geographic and Australian history, and even enjoyed Exodus.
iIhave American Indian (Cherokee) lineage, and love some of that reading, and artifacts,
And do belong to the Southern Cherokee Nation , and frequent their website.
History Magazine, is another favorite.
So all in all, my mood dictates, what cycle of reading phase I am going through.
I read Poetry, and also write poetry, and frequent poetry sites also.
This is just a gist of my reading interests, and I am sure I will expand them as I go.
I am always looking for new and old authors for new material to focus on.
I have family and friends who are giving me new leads quite regularly.
