I'm doing great. Lazy... but I don't think that is a medical diagnosis. LOL. My daughter gets migraines too. She just had a headache for 4 days. Also painful joints and muscles. Otherwise she's fine. My son-in-law was laid off from his job. He's retirement age so it isn't the scary thing it might hacve been a few years ago. One grandson is also laid off. He's worried.
This year we'll have a lot more customers at the food pantry and requests for Christmas gifts and food. We always collect just enough money and stuff to make it work. One day at a time is the only way people can manage. I think it's a little easier to have troubles in a small town with family and friends around for most people. But even small towns have homeless people.
I'm hoping for sunshine tomorrow. It has been cold with snow and rain.
I'm sending up a prayer for you, Lonnie. Take care.
A warm hug.

I'm waving back at the kitty. I have not been logging in lately. For some reason unknown to me I have even allowed my email to pile up. I think I just get more "stuff" than I can cope with sometimes. I've been zoning out with jigsaw puzzles and solitaire games.
How have you been? You are one of the first persons who became my friend when I first logged on. It's good to say hello again.
Hugs right back atcha!

Dear Ellie, I commented on your post and when I submitted it came up on my profile page. Duhhhh.
Ellie, you are a busy, bright and helpful person. Thanks for your comments on my journal. The tears came when those little children brought me that prayerbook all wrapped in tissue and tied with a bow. It was a precious moment.
We have the same situation in our small community. We have no Lutheran church. Some of the families attend the Episcopalan Church and some who live in my county and have teen agers have chosen to attend a Southern Baptist Church because their children love attending that church.
You are right it does not matter where we meet to worship or the service we follow. The object of our faith and worship is HIM and that makes us family.
I see you live in Michigan. I sold a tract of land to a couple from Westland a couple of years ago. They have now retired and have moved here and are building a house.
Ellie, I have enjoyed talking with you.

I read your topic on conversation around the table. I love that forum. Your appreciation of spring made me want to see you better and I was curious about where you lived. My heart rejoices to hear about the food pantry. How wonderful to make a place available to everyone where they receive love and food. We do the same in our community. Someone began the pantry about 20+ years ago. She has since moved away, but it continues to thrive and meet the needs of so many people.

Hello Grace,
The way to do this is to create a profile for yourself for the online community. Then you can communicate with all of us.

Busy. I should be writing checks or sorting papers. I spents a couple hours having coffee with my grocery store group. And right now, I'm having a cup of tea and checking out the groups.
How have you been? I read the posts in the group and will post when I actually have something to say.
all my best,
Ellie
