I've loved R&R ever I since I first starting hearing it. The first song that grabbed me was "There goes my Baby" by the Drifters. I can still remeber hearing that on an old Westinghouse tube radio. Played that thing till it died. Then discovered stereo - knocked my socks off. I even built a stereo system from (I forget the name) that I built from a kit. Kept that one for years till it was stolen.
Variety these days is where I am. I usually get cd's with different artists on it: The best of the 60's 70's 80's so on. Very rarely buy album from one artist. They really have to be good before I'll buy. Spend time at night listening to all my R&R albums on headphones.
