You are so right. Abuse is abuse. I work with senior citizens and believe me some of their own families cause them so much pain and sufferring. Sometimes no matter how much it hurts and no matter how difficult you have to remove yourself from them in any way you cann Lets discuss removal for a moment!

You can remove yourself physicaly, you can remove yourself emotionally, or the in and out. Say for exsample you really love your kids but you want to decide when where and how long you want to be exposed to them. Do the in and out. For me I told my kids if there is an emergency I will come but other than that leave me alone. I have had enough. Moving is not an option but they live with me thank god!
