Ok...so the last few days have been rough. I got hit with expenses that were not expected. Traffic tickets totalling $250. My hot water heater is on its way out. My pool pump fried..that was another $240. Both cars had to be re-registered.....$120. And on top of that....the property taxes are due next month...another $600 (I pay in increments).
Sheeeesh! You try to get ahead, you save and you exhale when you get a couple dollars ahead and WHAM!! You're now in the hole. I'm sure I'm not the only one and I'm sure there are people out there in worse situations...no doubt. So with that said, I have to be grateful for the things I do have and just step back and take a breather once in awhile.
Well it seems I am going to make all my bills just fine this month. I sold a Flatscreen TV stand (I have 2 left) that I bought brand new and in the boxes from Circuit City when they went out of business. (Black glass, beautiful stands) Plus, I got a side job making a sign for a company. So I held on to it all and I'm only short about $150...which is ok. I'm hoping one of my art pieces sells or that I get another sign job. Either way, I'm going to be just fine...considering I don't have a mortgage payment to deal with. :0)
You will be OK just keep doing the best you can. It never ends but at least you know what to expect. And, you are right there are people out there who are worse than you. All the best, Karean
