About Me

I am an ethical person and try to weigh everything I do from a perspective of my ethical & spiritual beliefs. With a strong reliance on life beyond this physical one & while I believe that "this world's a stage & all the people in it merely players", I also believe that we should enjoy life as much as possible without compromising our spiritual beliefs. When those come in conflict, I try to gather the perspective of others and see it as an opportunity for growth. Dealing with 3 kinds of Arthritis!

Interests:
Freedom. charity knitting (www.warmwoolies.com); spiritual development; dogs, babies, old movies, mystery novels, still photography, ethnic dining

I just joined this group and read your information. I see that you spent some time in Rochester, NY. I grew up there and found it a coincidence. I also like to knit although I have not perfected it yet. I love to sew and have done some lap quilts for my grandchildren and on full size quilt for my oldest and first grandson. I too love your use of colors and am guessing that purple is your favorite color. I happen to read a health blog about nutritious foods and the use of everyday herbs to alleviate some pain from chronic diseases. Then I got my Prevention magazine and it was in that also. It said that some Arthritis sufferers found their pain to be lessened by adding Tumeric to their cooking. Hope this is helpful. Be well. Marlene
