He could be board, to test this as I am not a vet,but I would for 3 weeks (21 days to break a habit), keep him extremly active 2 to 4 times per day walks, play lots of ball with him all for not more than 20 min at a time, but play ball 2-4 x per day , plus the walks. If that does not "calm" him from the habit then take him for dogie drugs. It is not healthy for him to do that constantly. I know you must know about the back being weak in that breed, so a good diet, even a senior diet no matter what age in this breed will keep them fit and has joint supplements, Glucosimine,chrondroitin, and MSN are good supplements at any age for most breeds. Your breed is a barker breed like terriors, and at times hard headed like my bully breeds are
