It is not easy but I'm getting into other activities and meeting more cheerful people that do not do too much dwelling on the past and finding happier things to do with happier people. I joined a gym at first-lasted for a couple of months. You know how that is. But just got back from taking my first ever Cruise. To the Caribbean for nine days. Forgot about everything and just flowed with the situation. Fabuluse time. As the old saying "One day at a time". Tomorrow looks inviting.
I don't know your situation - with AARP and if you are "coping" but it was good to hear from you.
