I've underwent some criticism because I'm only 36, and when I first joined the community I didn't put anything in my profile. Some people who oppose my views began accusing me of being some paid astroturfer for the Insurance Industry. The reality is, I came here because of this video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AoMNDdQ1_h0. I hoped that what I could do is to show that even as far back as August, and when the bill was first written that AARP was going to endorse anything that came out as long as it wasn't sponsored by someone with an R beside their name.
Since then I have posted that video to some people who just down played it, while accusing those of us that oppose this plan as opposing health care reform. I wish that I had taken a different approach than I did so I could have reached more people sooner. I'm sorry that I didn't take that more civil approach in the beginning to reach out to more people that I joined to give a heads up to. Many more would have known about this before they tried again, a second time, to sneak it by the American People. I hope its not too late.
With that said, the 2010 election is coming up and its going to be important that we don't sit on our laurels between now and then. May I ask each of you to join a meet-up group near you. These groups, and there are many of them that go by different names, and quite a few of them have chapters in more than one state. This is the grassroots movement that is called the Tea Party. On November 2nd, 2010 We The People will become again the ultimate authority on our rule of law in the United States by taking our Constitution back in our possession. 10 million people to get 7 people to join, and we take control of our country back from the corrupt forces that are puppeteering our Congress. Will you join this movement?
To reduce deficits and the debt
To preserve Individual Liberty for our posterity
To bring Christ, our Savior back into the Culture of the United States
To bring Accountability to the Congress and the President of the United States of America
Lofty objectives they are. Saving freedom may be more difficult that it was winning it.
