I have been in Rhodesian Ridgebacks for 21 years, most of the time just enjoying life with them. You will typically find them lazing around on the bed or couch, unless they're following me around, thinking they might miss something. There are times when you would find my kids in the show ring & on rare ocassions I have bred them. My Ridgeback family currently consists of Sunny who will be 13 in August, Hannah who will be 5 the same month & "baby" Eli who will be 3 the following month of September.
Eli is 2 points from his AKC championship & is hoping to win those 2 points next month. Then we will be looking forward to competing in the Rhodesian Ridgeback National Specialty the end of September, where his breeder will be showing him this year. Hannah will be starting her show career shortly after Eli's championship, while Eli ventures into obedience. Sunny has the quiet life of a senior citizen, but don't think you're going to leave her behind if you're going somewhere!!
Interests:
I haven't totally gone to the dogs!! I also enjoy horses & riding, just about anything outdoors from nature to gardening. I am not an avid sports participant, but will watch the events. While most people are into the typical baseball, basketball & football, I do prefer polo. (Somebody has to be different. It might as well be me!!) I also enjoy going to festivals, movies, theater & all those type of things. I am also open to new things, so ask...I might just be interested in trying it out.My Photos (5)
