About Me

I love making friends. I have a traditional way about me; my God, family, job and community; these are all important to me in that priority order. I like watching the clouds and the forms they take, I love the aroma of babies, the way air smells just before it starts to rain, the peace in the innocent smiles of children. Hot chocolate, snow flakes and roasted chestnuts in the winter, Fall's nippy air, Springs beauty of nature's reborn, and Summer's warm sun and a tropical breeze

Interests:
I love gardening, writing, taking walks, hiking,traveling, swimming, riding a bike, photography, cooking, poetry, music, singing although I can't sing, reading interesting literature; food for the soul, romantic, instructive, and other types, learning new things; and I enjoy creating beauty with my hands and dancing.

Sweet Echoes of the Past

 

 

Oh! How I hear the sweet echoes of  the children; running, calling, crying and laughing. 

But all just in the memories locked in my heart. How lovelly they still sound, when I close

my eyes and go back to the past. A time when they consumed every breathing moment of

my life. Oh! Those sweet echoes of the past! There was a time in which, every so often I

prayed for a little bit of time to rest from those sweet sounds; which drained me of

streangth. Tender echoes now turning my loneliness into a time of joy.
