Hello to all who visit. We spent 10 days in Arkansas over the fourth of july and had great time. Weather was in upper 50’s 2 or 3 mornings and never got over 90 while we were there. This is a great place and I encourage all who can to visit. If anyone would like more info just let me know and will be glad to help with area info of good and bad also best price places to stay.

Hello to all interested members. We have been going to this lake for 19 years and have found it to be one of the most beautiful places in the country. there are many great campgounds and resorts on this lake and the people of arkansas are just wonderful. we will be spending 10 days over the 4 of july and would love to meet some new people who enjoy the same. feel free to contact me.  the pictures are from hickory nut mountain and show the lake in fall and this past winter when we got 6" of snow. This area is truley beautiful year round as it is ever changing. The falls are just wonderful and the spring flowers are great also.  Hope more of you can enjoy such a beautiful place.

ps the is no houses on this lake it is in a national forest so all the shorline is open for camping and enjoying.
