Have a safe weekend.

I just want to wish everyone has a safe Labor Day weekend. I also hope that you all can spend it with friends and family .

For me it will be the usual holiday weekend...I really do not mind as it gives me time for my dance routines and for my Bible Studies.

It is 99 degrees out here today...thank God someone invented the air conditioner. I would never live through this with my asthma problems...my apartment has windows on one side (all facing south) so it stays warm no matter what you try without the air condifioner. Mare1496

I'm doing much better today...thank you. My neighbor took me shopping this morning...I've been up since 2:15 this morning when another neighbor came in with her hubby...both seriously drunk and singing at the top of their lungs. At least I got my coffee in this morning! It will be a great day today for me...I plan on resting the rest of the day. It is not so hot today, but is rainy...will put a damper on some back yard bbq's. Oh well, they can take the party inside and have just as much fun. We got out of the stores before they got too busy...I always like that...I hate it when you have to use traffic signals while grocery shopping. Wednesday will be fun too...we are taking another neighbor with us while we do our other shopping and bank business. So far we have taught her that you never pay full price for anything...wait for the sales! She is so proud of herself when she gets a good deal on something now.

Sorry for your unplanned activities . . . and glad you got the help you needed. I live in a 55 community. We all look out for one another because most of our families live far away. We gave a neighbor a ride from the airport and she called me yesterday because she made me and hubby a cake to thank us. It's a lovely place and great way to live. Friends are the family of choice. I'll be praying for your healing.

Thank you...I had to go to the Emergency Room last night...I've had the flu for 3 days and the power went out in our area of the city...I have severe asthma...well it kicked in with the 99 degrees outside...my neighbor came down as the rescue squad came for me...she looked at register...was all the way past the top numbers...90 degrees there. I am just going to take it easy, maybe call my son and brothers. Do have a wonderful day yourself...I hope it is spent with friends. Mare 1496
