hi jen hope all is well with you i been working on doing some cleaning carpets .... curio cabinets...china hutch.... moving all the furniture.... and doing some fall decorating inside and out and cleaning up all my hanging baskets to put in the atrium for the winter .... the garden is almost done here i still am getting lots of tomatoes and the winter squash is almost ready for picking..... so are the pumpkins..... my husband has gathered 100 bales of hay and stacked in the barn and split and stacked 2 cords of wood for the winter... i have 2 bushels of apples coming from my sons mother in law to make apple butter she sent some 2 weeks ago i put those up in the freezer for apple cobbler......the pear butter is all made and put up..... so were getting ready for the fall and winter here guess eveyone is trying to be prepared as the wolly worms are dark and fuzzy and i did notice the horses are starting to wool up too.... that might mean an early and cold winter but we never know for sure anymore lollll.... i have seen a few trees out the back starting to turn ....love your butterfly dangle graphic so pretty thanks for that ill be online more this winter when all the work is done like the rest of us preparing for winter is a big chore but i love it have a great week

my husband is trying to get ready for some concrete by our big barn and i am making stuffed green peppers for the freezer for future dinners and making breads with our last of the garden produce the kitchen smells amazing lollll .... we were going to the lake to paint our lake house but our grown children had other plans loll so were working here at the homestead instead.... tomorrow after church we will rest and maybe do a bar b q and then ill get the last of the cukes ready for an over nite brine to make pickles monday i am doing dill this time i did bread n butter last time.... the graden is starting to produce our winter squash and the new crop of greenbeans and spinach and pumpkins i love fall but it to is a lot of work.... hope you too have a happy labor day .... i am using up last years jarred pumpkin and the last of the zuchinni making that amazing bread....... or cake how ever one wants to think of it...that stuff is sooooooooo good loll have a great weekend Linda
