I am 62 and have been single about 28 years. My children are grown. I left my job as it became very stressful and am now on soc security, but I will have to find part time work to make it. I love animals. I had a 12 yr. old Lhasa apso named Tucker who was my heart but he died from cancer in April 09. Our household now has 2 cats but I want to soon also get a small dog. I love all kinds of music and am looking to start working out at the YMCA. I am an optomist

We have a lot in common. I have been single for 18 years and I want to be around longer too. I have been so moved by the responses that I feel happy that I can exercise and will be signing up at the ymca tomorrow. I am afraid I am going to outlive my little Lhasa Apso. He is very sick. It may be lungworms rather than Cushings disease and if so, they are more treatable. I will know more Monday. He is 12 and my honey boy. He has given me more joy than almost anything else. The vet has no idea how he got lungworms. Wouldn't you know he gets vaccinated for everything else and gets something there is no vaccine for.
I won't let this slow me down. I still want to be in better shape. Good luck to you. Keep in touch.
