After reading your post it made me think I might put some of my paintings in the photo section like you did with your photos. One of the issues I had with painting is that I can't draw and when I took lessons in GA my teacher taught us to enlarge photos to the size we wanted and print a B&W copy and trace the outlines of the most important part and go from there. What a big help, from there I learned I could paint much better when I didn't get stressed from trying to draw......I am only teaching this class at our church because everyone begged me. I have no training for being a WC painting teacher.

Buying NorthLight books with my favorite artists pics helped me too. I love Susan Bordet's paintings and their are many others. I try to learn from them as well. Keep up the good work!

mOOn your photos are beautiful. I would love to be able to take photos like that but haven't been able to get out and about to take any. My painting takes quite a bit of time & it's rewarding, but your photos are exceptional! I love to learn new things too and don't think we are ever too old to learn something new.

I'm anxious to see your perspectives on water color. I just started trying to work in that medium, and I need all the help I can get. My stuff looks like a grade school kid did it, but it's fun.
