always reading a book..enjoy anything except romances, biographies, and sci-fi/horror. altho i am an atheist, i like learning about all religions. their history, beleifs, the good and the weird. toying with gardening and flower beds. remodeling houses has been a great experience. refinish floors, repairs, worked with my oldest son on several. love spending time with my 2 young grandsons--they are awsome, and its nice to be their treasured grandma! not retired...sigh....gee dont know if i will ever be able to afford that! biggest fear about aging--ever being in a nursing home. EEEEK!!! greatest joy about aging--everything--i love life! i will be SOOO mad when i die LOL!!

hot topics, warm fuzzies, and my brand of common sense

i dont know exactly what one usually does with the journal feature on this site. is is a dear diary thingy? a blog kind of posting of ideas and opinions? where to keep notations of when my next paid time off day is scheduled at work and when my upcoming dentist appointment is, birthdays of my friends and relatives...hmmmmm!

i will go with the blog option at least to start with. i will, as time allows, post on a variety of topics. everyone is entitled to opinions among other things. mine, sometimes along with how i arrived at the opinions, will be entered here.
