About Me

My quote comes from my late brother, who said those words to me on his death bed. He was just 29. His words gave me the incentive to examine my life and heart. I ended a 24 yr marriage and went from the frying pan to the fire...but life is an adventure and mine has been that. I am a proud mother to three grown sons, and work part-time in the health-care field. I'm new to all this but here I am. What happens next, I don't know, but that's life ...and living it, taking chances, learning something new.

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside all people.

He said, ’My son, the battle is between two ’wolves’ inside us all.

One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.’

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: ’Which wolf wins?’

The old Cherokee simply replied, ’The one you feed.’

Namaste’
