Hello, just wanted to say that I, too, lived in Conroe for many years, first in River Plantation and then out Rt. 105 on Timberside Drive near the high school. One of my daughters is married to a Conroe policeman. I married a man from Ohio but he passed away in October after 15 years of marriage. I am in Rockwall, TX now, living in a retirement community and loving it. I have a daughter and son in the area so I'm enjoying being near them.
It sounds as if you are enjoying retirement. I know I am. Have a great weekend.

Hi Louis, Just wanted to say hello to a fellow Texan! I have a place in Montgomery, TX and lived in Conroe for years. I'm now working in Canada, but hope to retire back to Texas next year. Sounds like you are having a good retirement playing golf. I'm taking art lessons and hope to have time to paint once I retire. Love the fireplace in the photo. Appears to be an older one. Have a great weekend. Betty
