I SERVERED IN THE ARMY 65-67,WHEN I CAME HOME I WENT TO WORK FOR HOUSTON LIGHT & POWER. I MARRIED IN 1968 AND OUR FIRST SON WAS BORN IN 72.MY WIFE HAD A SON FROM A PREVIOUS MARRIAGE BORN IN 66.WE LOST 2 CHILDERN TO MISCARRIAGE BEFORE WE HAD A DAUGHTER IN 76.OUR LAST CHILD A SON WAS BORN IN 78.MY WIFE DIED FOLLOWING HEART VALVE SURGERY THE WEEK BEFORE CHRISTMAS IN 2002 A FEW DAYS AFTER WE HAD DECIDED TO TAKE EARLY RETIREMENT.MY STEPSON LIVES IN CHATTANOGA NEAR HIS FATHER AND IS BATTLING THROAT CANCER.MY OLDEST SON WITH WHOM I LIVE DOES MAINTAINENCE WORK AT A BAKERY .MY DAUGHTER IS A MUSIC TEACHER IN AUSTIN,TEXAS,MY YOUNGEST SON IS A AG MAJOR WORKING ON A RANCH IN SOUTH TEXAS.

Hi, Forgot to tell you I saw the greatest fireworks here in Ottawa for Canada's national day. It was so beautiful and so many people out celebrating. Really nice. Planning to be in TX in August - hope it's not too hot! Betty
